Hi Emily! I’ve just read your book, and thought it very inspiring, a really good read.

I was just wondering whether you could split the 119 Tors into circular day walks?

I would love to do this with my walking group, walking on fine weather days only, so the beauty of Dartmoor can be truly appreciated.

Maybe you could do the same? Taking photos of every Tor, so having a pictorial record of your achievement, and producing another book to compliment your first book! …

Best wishes for more adventures, Lucinda

Hi Lucinda, that's a very interesting idea. Someone else suggested something similar the other day too. How long would you want the day walks to be? I took pictures of every tor on the walk, but as you can imagine some of them were quite grey!

And are you imagining a book you can take with you on the walk to use for directions? Or a planning book that you can refer to but leave at home?

If you haven't seen it, there's also allthetorschallenge.com but the booklet doesn't split out the walks for you.

Hi Emily! ... I think you could do a pictorial book (but with good clear pics) with directions, accompanied with your thoughts and observations on each walk. Full day circular walks, mileage variable 8 - 12 miles? A pocket map of each walk would be really useful too which could be used in tandom with an OS map. I like to record my walks on the OS app too. Just a few ideas! I will look at allthetorschallenge.com ... many thanks, Lucinda
